ABOUT ME
Having spent my formative years in my father’s darkroom, photography was in my blood (or, at least the chemicals were). Growing up in St. Louis, I spent much of my time in art and architecture studios until photography called me back after many years working in New York City and London.
I specialize in modern, unpretentious, and honest natural light photography. My passion lies in capturing true connection and emotion.
A little about me. I’m obsessed with light–natural or incandescent (CFLs make me dizzy- sorry Earth), Dr. Martens, movie theater popcorn (with half a liter of imitation butter oil), fuzzy socks, bacon, Junior Mints, salt, tattoo artists, Kurt Vonnegut, that one song by Milky Chance, bacon, everything Swedish (except that nasty fish paste in a tube), tap water, trying not to kill myself on skis, bacon and my family.

Photography sessions are unposed and unscripted. You want to go apple picking? Perfect. Take a dip in the ocean? You’re on. Find a perfect picnic spot? Done. Cliff-jumping? Wicked. All I ask is that you enjoy each other and let the kids be kids (minus the blue raspberry jolly ranchers- you know who you are).
A family or newborn session fee is 950 dollars, which includes immediate family members only. Sessions are flat-rate and all-inclusive meaning one price gets you the session + approximately 45-60 high resolution hand-edited digital files + a print release + a professional 4×6 print of each photo. This way you don’t have to on-the-spot choose between an album and a canvas. And you won’t get the hard sell. Plus, I’m happy to professionally print whatever photos you choose, whenever you choose them.
I will shoot at any location within 25 miles of Old Greenwich, CT. I love to travel, so I am also happy to shoot at locations further afield; however, they may incur travel and transportation fees. Please contact me for details.
I photograph a limited number of sessions each month and they tend to fill up 2-3 months in advance (earlier in the fall). In order to secure a spot for a session, I require a $250 non-refundable deposit, which will be deducted from your session fee.
Holiday sessions must be held prior to Thanksgiving.
